A bijan frise breeder is always proud of his/her dogs' photos.
These dogs can also be show dogs and all show dogs are someone's pet, but not all pets are show dogs. Dogs are measured against the standard, the ideal word picture of an ideal dog. If the dog does not closely conform to this standard, he is considered a "pet", even though he is from a litter bred for show.

The most distinctive feature of the dog is its coat that is white, but may have shadings of buff, cream or apricot around the ears or on the body. Any color in excess of 10% of the entire coat of a mature specimen is a fault and should be penalized, but color of the accepted shadings should not be faulted in puppies.
