Grooming includes a thorough brushing at least once a week (and then you will find mats but they shouldn't be too bad). Daily brushing is much better though if done on a daily basis, it will take approximately 15 minutes.

Grooming is very important for these dogs as they do not shed at all and therefore their coat can mat. Heavily matted animals must be shaved otherwise there can be serious skin problems. Thus, grooming is the only serious problem with this dog. Bicheon frise breeders will be happy to show photos of their puppies.
